Every car site is built around what is for sale. You scroll listings, you chase sellers, and the good ones are gone before the ad is a day old. BYR turns that around. You say what you are after, and the market comes to you.
What we do
On BYR the buyer is the listing. You post a brief. It holds the make and model you want, the year, the budget, the kilometres, the things you will not accept, and how ready you are to buy.
It works in both directions. Buyers stop refreshing listings and start getting approached. Dealers, brokers and owners can see real demand before they spend anything advertising, including for cars that have not been listed yet.
Where we are up to
BYR Cars has launched and demand is building. Posting a brief works today, and the more briefs there are, the more worth a seller's while it is to look.
How we make money
We are neutral. BYR does not act for the seller, does not take a margin on the car, and does not sell your details on. Posting a brief is free for buyers and always will be.
Sellers pay to reply. That is the whole model, and it is the reason we have no reason to push you toward one car over another.
